A Lycra-clad man been charged with a slew of indecent exposure offences after police accused him of indecently dealing with a child.
The 47-year-old Baldivis man was arrested on January 31 following the alleged incident with an 11-year-old girl at Warnbro Train Station, in Perth’s southern suburbs, on January 13.
Police allege the man indecently dealt with the girl around noon before she reported the incident to police.
They also allege he committed indecent acts in public places – like cafes, restaurants, parks, on public transport, and train stations – between October and February across several Perth suburbs, including Baldivis, Rockingham, and Scarborough.
Police said during these incidents the man was wearing “tight Lycra-type clothing like bicycle shorts, tights or body suits”.
Police allege some of the incidents were recorded on the man’s mobile phone.
He’s been charged with one count of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years and 17 counts of indecent acts in public.
He’s due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
