A man has been killed in a workplace incident in Perth’s inner southeast.
St John Ambulance crews were called to a business on Banksia Rd in Welshpool just before 10am on Monday.
The man, aged in his 30s, was found critically injured at the scene.
There was nothing paramedics could do for the man, who died of his injuries. Early reports suggest he may have been crushed.
WA Police were also called, but as a workplace death, the matter is being handled by WorkSafe WA.
NCA NewsWire has contacted WorkSafe for comment.
According to Seven News, the business is owned by drilling equipment manufacturer Schramm Inc.
The incident comes less than a week after 51-year-old BHP rail worker Jody Byrne was fatally hit by a train in the Pilbara town of Port Hedland on Tuesday night.
